With the growth of many public facilities owning an AED,
this course takes preparing for cardiac emergencies to
the next level.
This course explains the rationale for early defibrillation,
what it is and how it works. Participants become familiar
with the use and safe operation of an automated external
defibrillator (AED). Participants must have current
certification in Adult CPR. This certificate is valid for
a 1-year period.
For those licensed professionals who have new AED requirements
for licensing due to "ACT 104" we are able to come to
your workplace to host a class (minimum of 6 students-call chapter for pridcing).
Prerequisite: Current Adult CPR certification.
Length: 1 1/2 hours.
